The trophy is nice. The nameplate (sticker) is not completely glued on. The ends are lifting off. Poor quality. I've ordered this trophy previously with satisfaction.

Many of the trophies were broken when they arrived. BUT the Jones team jumped into action and I had the replacements in time. The kids loved them.

These trophies are good for cheap little prizes. Keep in mind that they are value trophies. They are plastic and the engraving is really just black letters printed on a gold sticker. However, they worked for a little token of appreciation for my piano students.

Inexpensive way to make students feel special

I love these. They feel like you are giving a substantial award, while only having to spend a fraction of the price. While the plates are not actually "engraved," (it is more or less black lettering on the gold background) they still have the benefit of being customized with either a student's name to make the award personal and with the reason for the award. My students are very excited to receive these!

The trophies came extremely quick and yes, like the other review read it is foil and not an "engraved plate", however the foil did not bother me. I had 2 of the 14 trophies arrive broken (gold music note snapped off gold base). To the company's credit...EXCELLENT customer service. They very promptly replaced the trophies. All in all I think they are nice for the price paid.

"Engraving" is poor

The trophy itself is what I expected, but the "engraving" looks like gold tape that was printed on. I'm kind of embarrassed to give them away being so cheap. I understand they are "value trophies" but if it says it's engraved one assumes that they are engraved into metal, not paper tape.

This is my second year ordering the value trophies, and I am very happy with them. I love being able to type in the text online. The kids seem to like getting a trophy better than a certificate, so the price of these is great, too!

I just didn't think the foil would look too appealing. I really wanted it engraved instead of on foil.
