I felt the quality of the metal was just ok. Weight and size was not great compared to similar medals from other sites. Also the inscription was not directly on the medal but was on a separate plate attached to the back (this was specified on the item description). The metals are very solid and look nice on the ribbon. The only reason not 5 stars is the brass on back scratches so the engraving not as clean. There are also the JSSM initials underneath
