This is a nice medal. I got it in all three colors for varying years of participation in choir. The engraving looked nice on the back, too. My only complaint is that there is no ring to attach to a letter jacket or to run anything through. The hole between the top two stars can work, but it doesn't lay flat, then. The ring would be nice if you would like to be able to see the back side, as well.

In a time of shrinking school budgets, I began looking for less expensive options for district Gold, Silver and Bronze awards. I ordered these last year and was very happy with the look and quality. They are not super heavy, but certainly adequate and a great value! I have re-ordered again this year and will continue to in the future.

Not correct medals

I ordered the star line torch medals, but received the star line lamp medals instead. They were close/non-specific enough that I could make it work for the awards I was handing out, but they weren't what I wanted at the time. The plus side is that the quality was still great and the quantities were correct, so no worries there.

My students were very happy with these medals. The Star Line medals are well-made, interesting to look at, and their weight makes them feel substantial. And with the neck ribbons, they were under $3.00 each. I'd order them again!

Military Spirit medal

We are not teachers nor employed by any school. We are a Veterans Post using the torch medal to recognize high school graduates who have committed their next phase of life at serving in the U.S. military. We call the medal the "Military Spirit Medal" as we, warriors of the past, pass the torch of defense to a new generation of defenders.

Trophies are nice - but these Medals REALLY are a hit with my young athletes. The look in the kids eyes is something completely different from when we [used to] hand out trophies. Medals put stars in their eyes! From an Organizational standpoint - these beautiful Medals are fully HALF THE PRICE of the trophies we [used to] purchase. Change is good. Changing to these Medals has been GREAT!
