While we really like the idea that the medals came with the ribbon already attached, they were not consistent in the way they were connected. We had given the medals out to the students at an assembly and within the first 20 minutes after they left the assembly two students had lost their medals from the ribbons. We looked through the remaining ribbons and found that some were attached with a substantial metal ring, while others (the ones that broke apart included) were attached with a thin piece of wire that was easily bent open. We were not so happy about that.

The delivery of the item was prompt, but the product is about the same weight as the toy medals you purchase from Oriental Trading. I considered buying seperate medals and ribbons, but I am unsure whether that would be any sturdier. The ribbons seem to be of better quality.

This is a very economical way of giving awards to many and stay within a limited budget. I have no problems with this product. My only issue is that I settled for this one because there are not any medals associated with career and technical education. It would be wonderful to have a few choices that relates to some of the subject area or even a generic that has CTAE or career and technical education on it. otherwise... very satisfied.

We just handed out these medals to all the kids at VBS who earned points for saying Bible verses. The kids loved them and were so proud to have earned a nice medal. I have used medals before for sports awards but this is the first time for VBS. Medals are very affordable and look great! Thanks.
