These medals are not only a super value.....but they are gorgeous! My 5th graders chose them as the coolest out of all the colored ones. AND, they always ship on time....when I need them! THANKS!!

The stitching for quite a few ribbon clasps had given way within 15 minutes which left the medal in two pieces.

These are great medals. The only thing better (for my purpose) would be a Good Deed, or Good Luck coin. I use them to reward people or service providers. For example, at a store a person might do an exceptional kindness or consideration (like letting you go in line ahead of them). I might say something like, "Thank you, you deserve a medal for that" Then I give them one. Same for the mailman who makes an extra effort ("above and beyond the call of duty" to deliver an important package in a horrible weather condition (take your pick, we have been getting lots to choose from lately), or the nurse etc. Anyway these Gold Star Medals fit the bill pretty well.

We are very pleased with these medals. We needed a common denominator for the class to give to each child and the mascot fit the bill. Each child was happy with theirs and it added a special memory for them and us. Smiles stay in the heart for years.

These are very decent medals at a fair price. My only complaint is the gold is not a true gold color. It is darker than I would like.
