I was coordinating a dinner event at my church, where 14 people would each design a unique & elegant dinner table for the event. I wanted to give each of those table designers a little something as a token of my appreciation for their time and efforts. I was excited when I found these medals-they were just perfect for what I wanted to do. And when I gave them out to each of the people, the happy looks on their faces told me that they loved getting them. Just perfect! Thank you, Jones School Supply.

Reasonably priced art awards are difficult to find. The neck ribbon with the art medal added a flair of prestige to the occasion. I am already planning for them next year.

I like the medals however the ring connecting the medal to the ribbon has a gap many times and the ribbon becomes disconnected frequently. Is there a solid ring that can be used in place of this ring with a gap?

Elementary School Running Club medal

This week was our last week of running club at our elementary school this year. We announced top runners for each grade and those with perfect attendance. However, I knew many others have put their best effort forward every week so I rewarded ALL of the kids with this same medal along with the red, white and blue neck ribbon. It was really cool to see these kids wearing their medals and holding up their certificates for pictures when we were done. They all loved them! Also, 1 of the medals came as the wrong design and customer service sent the correct one the very next day. Shipping on the original shipment was fast too. Oh, and the medals that I ordered came with a small additional ring attached to the top. It wasn't expected. But thinking back to other reviews, some had said that the medals came off of the hook and I'm thinking it was because they hooked it onto this extra ring. Some of the rings didn't seem to be closed completely and this may have been their problem. I hooked our medals to the loop that you see in the picture (not the additional one) and we had no problems. Thank you Jones for having a well made product at a reasonable price. I was able to buy 170 of these(plus ribbons) for the kids and still stay within our program budget for the year. I will definitely suggest these to the PTA and running club Chair to buy again next year.

Used as end of year awards for 2nd graders. Coupled with the inexpensive neck sashes, was able to easily provide one for each student. Gives the teacher an opportunity to see that all of the children get something they can display and be proud of for many, many years. Who knows, maybe it will be the initial incentive that leads some student to a career as a doctor or scientist. Very economical award that was at a par with much more expensive items.

When I received the medals, I was pleasantly surprised with the size, since it seemed smaller in the catalog. I was impressed with the detail of the medal especially the words imprinted around the hands (the letters may "seem" small, but are clearly legible). The monetary value is more than acceptable, especially when you consider the "value" the recipient will have in receiving the recognition. Thank you for making the "gift of encouragement" affordable.
