Ribbons-great; rings-not

Everything about this order was GREAT - variety, ease of ordering, quick delivery - until we hooked the medals onto the ribbon. On about 6 out of 10 of them, the metal ring on the bottom of the ribbon was not closed enough to hold the medal. We had to manually tighten each one to ensure they would not fall off prior to/during our awards ceremony. We had to do this for 748 medals. =[

I did not investigate this product thoroughly. I was in a hurry and the ribbons looked like those I have ordered before. The medium width ribbon is satisfactory for the 2" medal I ordered, but a wider ribbon looks nicer.

The neck ribbons are attractive. The clip on the end is rather light weight. I chose to attach the medals directly to the ring, not using the clip, for a nicer appearance.

Love the ribbons with the year on them since we don't engrave our medals this helps the students have an accurate remembrance of the year the winning took place.

Purple/white ribbons

We originally ordered the purple/white ribbons and were quite disappointed to find that the purple "bled" onto the white, causing the white to turn a pale shade of pink. I would rate this product poorly. HOWEVER, when I called the company, they were immediately apoloegetic, sent a call tag for the original order and issued a new shipment of solid purple ribbons, which we received in just a few more days. They were perfect and all ended well.

Order these every year and they are great. If I could be super critical I would like the option of ordering silver clasps to match the silver medals or at least a package of silver clips separately to I could change them out.
